Staircase around a gas sphere

For a client from the Antwerp region, we designed a staircase around an existing gas sphere (ATEX zone).
The existing gas sphere and staircase have been there since 1960, and the staircase was gradually due for replacement.

By using our 3D scanner, we were able to import the existing situation into our CAD package.
Using this technique, we were able to redesign the staircase in detail.

Afterwards, our client was able to fabricate and install the staircase.
