Job description
As a CAD drafter/designer you oversee the entire process from A to Z – from the concept phase to production. You are responsible for design and engineering, and you maintain close contact with the internal team, customers and suppliers. For the projects entrusted to you, you bear final responsibility. Your focus is on (mechanical) engineering and you always strive for the highest possible quality.
Profile
For this position we are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people. In addition, you have:
- Knowledge of 3D-CAD software Solidworks / Inventor
- Technical and spatial insight with knowledge of basic manufacturing techniques (turning, milling…)
- Good material knowledge; tolerances and fits hold no secrets for you
- Good communication skills in the usual languages
- A positive attitude and an assertive personality
- Flexibility, enabling you to quickly adapt to changing circumstances
- Work independently / in a team

Job-related competencies
- Compile and adjust bills of materials from the plans and technical dossiers
- Create and modify plans and detailed drawings.
- Determine dimensions for parts, subunits (subassemblies) or units (assemblies)
- Study and design parts, subunits (subassemblies) or units (assemblies)
- Develop rough sketches, systems, or units (assemblies).
Required education
- Professional (practice-oriented) Bachelor’s (PBA)
- Equivalent through experience.
Language skills
- Dutch (very good)
